The event was a weekend of celebration of German culture. Nothing but food food, good music & dancing.
There were many specialty foods served in the German Specialty Tent. Specialty foods such as wursts, sauerkraut, and kartoffel schlinky-thinly sliced, deep fried, spiral sliced potatoes.
The event has been an area tradition for more than 40 years and is modeled after the annual Octoberfest Celebration in Munich, Germany.
